ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing The Revenue Divisional Officer, Sriperumputhur, Kancheepuram District the second respondent herein as requested in her representation dt.04.03.2024 and 07.08.2024 by conducting an enquiry summoning the interested parties and the petitioner with in a stipulated time as specified by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner lodged a complaint as against the third respondent under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 seeking maintenance and it is pending for enquiry on the file of the second respondent.

4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the third respondent, conduct enquiry and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
