Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's written representations, dated 22.10.2021 and 27.10.2021, consequently conduct further verification for the 23 withheld candidates in the Revised Provisional Selection List, dated 28.12.2020 and consider the
candidate in the next serial number for filling up the vacancies for the post of Computer Instructors Grade-I (Post Graduate Cadre) at the instance of the withheld candidates being rejected.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the petitioner's representations, dated 22.10.2021 and 27.10.2021 and consequently conduct further verification for the 23 withheld candidates in the Revised Provisional Selection List, dated 28.12.2020 for filling up the vacancies for the post of Computer Instructors Grade-I (Post Graduate Cadre).
2. The 2nd Respondent / Teachers Recruitment Board has issued notification for recruitment of Computer Instructors (Grade-1) on 01.03.2019. The exams were conducted through online mode in the month of June 2019 and the results were published on 25.11.2019. On 27.11.2019, additional vacancies were notified. The candidates were called for certificate verification and the certificates were verified subsequently.
Thereafter, Provisional Selection list of selected candidates was uploaded on 11.01.2020 and revised Provisional selection list was uploaded on 28.12.2020 wherein the petitioners name did not find place. It was replied by the 2nd Respondent under Right to Information Act that they have withheld results for 23 candidates. In this circumstance, the petitioners made representations on 22.10.2021 and 27.10.2021, requesting to conduct further verification for 23 withheld candidates and to release a revised list. However, the same was not considered yet. Hence, this Writ Petition.
3. Heard Mr.Thanga Vadhana Balakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.P.Gurunathan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent 1 and 3 and Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned counsel for the 2nd Respondent.
4. Considering the fact that the representations made by the petitioner are pending for more than two years, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners on 22.10.2021 and 27.10.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance
with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 19.02.2024 Index: Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order vum To:
