The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to return his Driving Licence bearing D.L.No.TN-4120010002910 which is valid upto 29.7.2017 forthwith.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioner's Driving Licence has been suspended by an order dated 28.10.2016 for a period of six months and the same has been communicated to the petitioner.

3. Therefore, this writ petition is closed, giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order of suspension of Driving Licence, by filing a fresh writ petition. No costs.
