ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 15.11.2021.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner lodged a complaint before the first respondent on 15.11.2021, no action has been taken, despite the fact that the petitioner stated in his complaint that one S.D.Murugesan S/o.Duraisamy Gounder threatened him and his family members and created documents, causing encumbrance to the petitioner's property. The said S.D.Murugesan had given an undertaking that he would https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
resolve the issue by executing the necessary documents and clear encumbrance. Thereafter, he removed the encumbrance with regard to a part of the property and the other part left as such. Now the petitioner approached S.D.Murugesan to remove the encumbrance. He threatened the petitioner claiming that he hails from Salem and he is having a political background. Hence, the petitioner had given a complaint to the respondent police in the year 2012 as well as to the Chief Minister Cell in the year 2017 and followed it with the complaints before the 2nd respondent in the year 2020 and 2021.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the face of it, the dispute appears to be civil in nature. In any event, the petitioner would be called for enquiry, after they ascertain the veracity of the complaint and thereafter, necessary action would be taken.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
