Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.08.2024, in accordance with law and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner, for the Punjai lands in Survey No.376/1, to an extent of 50 cents situated in Kavithandalam Village, Uthiramarur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 09.08.2024 seeking issue of patta in his name in respect of the property situated in S.No.376/1 at Kavithandalam Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property was purchased by him under the sale deed dated 16.03.1995 from one Multhanmal Jein. He submitted a representation on 09.08.2024 seeking issue of patta in his name and the same has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.U.Baranidaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.08.2024 and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
