ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.27 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate III, Pondicherry and quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor(Pondicherry) appearing for the first respondent submitted that this Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/A13 to quash the Criminal proceedings in C.C.No.27 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Pondicherry. He further submitted that in this Criminal Original Petition, the case in C.C.No.107 of 2017 has been wrongly mentioned by the petitioner as C.C.No.27 of 2016, in which, the petitioner/A13 along with other accused were acquitted by the Trial Court on 04.07.2022 after full fledged trial.

3. Hence, nothing survives in the present petition for further adjudication and therefore, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
