The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to the first respondent to renew his passport No.Z7648791 for 10 years and re-issue it to him as applied for.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she had a Passport bearing Passport No.M 0450695, which got expired on 30.07.2024 and she has applied for renewal of said Passport. Due to pending criminal cases against the petitioner before the respondents 2 & 3, there was delay in process. Thus, the petitioner filed writ petition in W.P.No.35932 of 2023 and this Court vide order dated 04.01.2024, disposed the same. Accordingly, Passport No.Z 7648791 was issued by the first respondent for one year, which is going to be expired on 16.01.2025. Hence, the petitioner approached the first respondent by giving Page No.2 of 6
representation dated 05.07.2024, seeking renewal of her Passport. However, the petitioner's Passport was not renewed till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition seeking direction to the first respondent to renew her Passport for further period of 10 years.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondents to renew the petitioner's Passport No.Z 7648791 for 10 years and re-issue it to her, within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
5. Taking into consideration the factual aspects of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 05.07.2024 if any submitted by him seeking renewal of his Passport No.Z 7648791 for a further period of 10 years, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as Page No.3 of 6
aggrieved persons if any, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observation and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
