ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to pass appropriate orders for re-scanning of the petitioner's Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Answer Script bearing Candidate Roll Number 17TE22804898 in respect of Paper-II of Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET-2017) held on 30.04.2017 and declare the results and issue pass certificate after considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner completed B.Sc Degree in the year 2009 and also completed B.Ed degree in the year 2010. According to the petitioner, she participated in TNTET examination conducted by the first respondent and she became successful in the written examination and results were also published in the website. According to the petitioner, she has secured 85 marks and was called for certificate verification. According to the petitioner, she did not receive the TET certificate. Thereafter, the petitioner had made representations requesting the respondents to issue duplicate certificate. Since the representations were not considered, the petitioner had also approached under the Right to Information Act. As per the information received by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act on 25.07.
2022, she has been informed that she has not passed the examination. Thereafter, the petitioner has made a representation on 12.09.2022 requesting the respondents 1 and 2 for rescanning of her Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Answer Script bearing Roll Number 17TE22804898 in respect of Paper-II of Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET-2017) held on 30.04.2017. Since the representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Heard Mr.R.Prabakar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.S.Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2022 is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2022 seeking for re-scanning of the petitioner's Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Answer Script bearing Roll Number 17TE22804898 in respect of Paper-II of Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET-2017) held on 30.04.2017 and declare the results on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
