This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.6 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent / the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Nagapattinam & District.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police submits that in Cr. No.6 of 2020, investigation has been completed and charge sheet has already been filed in C.C. No.97 of 2022 and the same is taken on file by the Special Judge, Special Court, POSCO, Session, Nagapattinam District.
In view of the completion of investigation and filing of the charge sheet, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
