ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order r/w 7(i)(a)(ii) of E.C Act, 1955 in Crime No.175 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the first accused had illegally transported of 22,000 kgs of PDS rice. Based on the confession of A1, the petitioner was implicated in this case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that based on the confession of co-accused, the petitioner was falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that there is one previous case pending against the petitioner. He further submitted that the investigation is at initial stage. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there is one previous case pending against the petitioner and the investigation is at initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
