PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in Memo No.787/BCDFGISSSV/2024 passed by the 2nd respondent on 23.07.2024, on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to produce petitioner's son Saravanan @ Aadu Saravanan son of Ramesh aged about 25 years, before this Court, who now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal - II, Chennai and set him at liberty. Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.6226, Home Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department dated 05.09.2024.

Therefore, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and

the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
