ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2021 and pay subsistence allowance for the period from 10.06.2020 to till date, under provisions of Tamil Nadu Payment of Subsistence Allowance Act, 1981.

2. The petitioner claims that subsistence allowance should be paid to him during the period of enquiry. She has given a representation to the second respondent on 15.11.2021 for claiming subsistence allowance from 10.06.2020 to till date under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Payment of Subsistence Allowance Act, 1981.

3. Since the said representation has not been considered and no order has been passed so far, I feel the second respondent should be directed to

consider the representation and pass orders.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2021 and pass orders to pay subsistence allowance in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
