Heard the Learned Counsel for the petitioner and the Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.

The petitioner herein claiming to be the owner of the house sites bearing Plot Nos.23 and 26, in S.No.887/23 & S.No.887/26 respectively, having an extent of 116 sq.mts and 0.01.0 Hectares, situated at Mosur Village, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on his representation, dated 10.01.2017, for mutation of Revenue records in respect of house sites assigned to him.

The Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents took notice when the matter is came up for admission and he represents that, pursuant to the representation given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted by the Tahsildar, and he has submitted the report to Revenue Divisional Officer, to pass appropriate orders. Further, on instruction, the Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that since the petitioner has obtained free sites for two plots, which he is not entitled, necessary action is contemplated by the respondents. In any event, it is open to the petitioner herein to agitate his right once his representation is disposed of. From the submission of the Additional Government Pleader, it appears that the representation of the petitioner has been enquired and appropriate orders will be passed in due course.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed with direction to the 2nd respondent/Tahsilder, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District, to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.01.2017, within a period of three weeks, from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
