O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.347 of 2017 pending on the file of the Fast Track Court, Judicial Magistrate No.1, Erode.

2.The STC.No.347 of 2017 arises out of the complaint filed for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. This petition has been listed for admission on 20.10.2017 and at request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, it was adjourned by one week. Thereafter, it was listed on 27.10.2017. On that day also no one was presented to represent the case. Thereafter, the learned counsel for the petitioner did not take any steps even for bringing the matter https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for hearing. With the result, this Criminal Original Petition is pending for the past three years even for admission. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition and it is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
