The petitioners/A2 and A6 in Crime No.196 of 2022, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 197, 198, 420, 463, 464, 466, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC, seek anticipatory bail. 2.It is stated the a Legal Heir Certificate and Death Certificate of one Prijithammal had been created and with the help of it, a property at S.No.45/6 New UDR No.406/16 was sold to Anthoniammal, wife of A2, and Nambickkaimary, wife of A1. It is stated that the Sale Deed was effected on the basis of forged document of Death Certificate of Prijithammal and Legal Heir Certificate issued by the Village Administrative Officer, Revenue Inspector and Tahsildar.

3.Any offence relating to forgery will have to be deeply investigated and anticipatory bail is not the answer and custodial interrogation is required. The learned counsel for the petitioner had taken a concious decision to continuously absent himself appearing before the Court. He was not present on 13.10.2023, 1/3

he was not present on 31.10.2023, he was not present on 16.11.2023 and again he was not present on 05.12.2023.

4.In view of all these factors, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 11.12.2023 ata 2/3
