By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner/party-in-person seeks for change of patta in his name. It is his case that pursuant to the orders passed by this Court in WP.No.20015/2016 dated 14.06.2016, he was issued with the Legal Heirship Certificate by the Tahsildar, dated 01.07.2016 and armed with the said certificate, he applied for change of patta in his name in respect of the property/house to the 2nd respondent on 25.07.2016 and to the Deputy Revenue Officer, Modakurichi, on 04.08.2016. The petitioner further states that the other legal heirs of his mother, viz., [late] Pavayee @ Pavayal, have also given their 'No Objection' for change of patta in the petitioner's name. Since the said representations did not evoke any kind of response, the petitioner once again sent a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

reminder on 29.08.2016. The said reminder is still pending consideration at the hands of the 2nd respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.

3.Heard the petitioner/party-in-person and Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner / party-in-person, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner / party-in-person, either in his representations or in this writ petition, directs the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's / party-in-person's representations dated 04.08.2016 and 29.08.2016 respectively on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
