Mani @ Subramani Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment made by the 5th respondent in the land i.e., comprised in S.No.86/1 situated at Koothambakkam Village, Arakkonam Taluk presently Sholingur Taluk, Vellore District based on petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2025 within a time frame. 1/4

ORDER

(made by M. SUNDAR, J.) Captioned 'writ petition' [hereinafter 'WP' for the sake of brevity] has been filed with a prayer to issue a writ of mandamus [to be noted, mandamus qua Removal of Encroachment (RoE)] and the prayer is predicated on writ petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2025 [hereinafter 'said representation' for the sake of convenience and clarity].

Aforereferred said representation is addressed to R1 (District Collector) though copies have been marked to respondents 2 to 4. There is no paper to demonstrate that said representation has been served on first respondent.

Faced with the above situation, Mr. K. Mukesh Kumar, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner, sought leave of this Court to withdraw the captioned WP but made a plea to preserve all the rights and contentions of writ petitioner to come to this Court or approach any other appropriate Court/fora on the same cause of action with requisite papers. This request of learned counsel for writ petitioner is acceded to.
