This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to file final report in Crime No.39 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 3 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that initially, case in Crime No.39 of 2015 was registered by the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Villupuram and the case has been transferred to the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Tiruvannamalai and numbered as Crime No.3 of 2016.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Tiruvannamalai is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation and take action in accordance with law.
