O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J] This Contempt Petition is filed alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.A.No.1628 of 2016 dated 10.01.2017.

2. On the last hearing, when the matter came up for hearing, inviting the attention of this Court to the letter No.6857/LA3(1)/2016-10 dated 07.08.2017, of the Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, Chennai, Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate submitted that the orders made in W.A.No.1628 of 2016 dated 10.01.2017, have been complied with and that the request of the writ petitioner for reconveyance of land in Survey No.294/2 measuring an extent of 10 cents 198 sq.ft in Kalapatty village, Coimbatore District has been rejected as devoid of merits.

3. We have also recorded the contents of the letter dated 7.8.2017. On this day, when the matter came up for further hearing, Mr.M.Elumalai, lerned Government Advocated, produced the files supporting the contention that order dated 7.8.2017, has been acknowledged by the writ petitioner. We have perused the postal acknowledgement.

4. Placing on record the above, the contempt petition is closed.
