ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to survey and fence the subject land based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2025.

2. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner had acquired the subject land vide partition deed 2/6

dated 22.11.2006. However, without any title or valid right, the respondents 3 & 4 are trying to fence the said land. Therefore, a representation was filed by the petitioner on 21.05.2025, requesting the respondent to survey and fence the subject property. However, the said representation was not considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition has been filed.

5. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the representation filed by the petitioner will be considered within a period of 4 weeks and hence, requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

7. In the case on hand, in this case, the petitioner had acquired the subject land vide partition deed dated 22.11.2006. However, without any title or valid right, the respondents 3 & 4 are trying to fence the said land. 3/6

Therefore, a representation was filed by the petitioner on 21.05.2025, requesting the respondent to survey and fence the subject property. However, the said representation was not considered by the respondent till date.

8. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2025 within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there is any obstruction in the process of surveying and fencing the subject land, the 1st respondent is at liberty to approach 2nd respondent, who shall provide all necessary assistance to him till the completion of process.

9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
