The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members without due process of law.

2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that based on a complaint lodged by one Thirupathi, the respondent police are frequently calling the petitioner for enquiry and harassing him. Hence the petitioner has come forward with the present Criminal Original Petition.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on completion of enquiry, the complaint lodged by the said Thirupathi was closed. Therefore, the presence of the petitioner is not required. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I am of the opinion that there is no need to pass any specific direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.
