The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to continue to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.03.2017.
2. The petitioner seeks police protection to the petitioner based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.03.2017. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh representation, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.
3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
