This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to conduct further investigation in Crime No.229 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 324 & 506(2) of IPC.

On instruction, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent registered FIR in Crime No.299 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 376, 324 & 506(2) of IPC. After completion of investigation, the FIR has been closed as "further action dropped". The referred charge sheet has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvallur, on 16.04.2025. 3.
Considering the above submissions, the second respondent is directed to serve the referred charge sheet to the petitioner and on receipt of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to file protest petition before the concerned jurisdictional Court in the manner known to law.
