This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 24.08.2016 given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 24.08.2015, it is seen the petitioner has not even stated when the alleged incident has taken place. Since, the entire transaction between the petitioner and the opposite party appears to be a civil dispute, no positive direction can be issued to register an FIR., Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
