After mutual discussion and negotiation between both parties they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Both the parties voluntarily have come to the settlement before the Lok Adalat as follows :
(i) As against the Award amount of Rs.97,250/- with further interest of 7.5% p.a, the parties have agreed to settle for a sum of Rs.1,25,000/- as full quit;
(ii) It is represented that a sum of Rs.25,000/- of the Award amount has already been deposited which is lying to the credit of M.C.O.P in the Trial Court and the balance sum of Rs.1,00,000/- shall be deposited within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (iii) Upon such deposit, the claimant is entitled to withdraw the entire sum without any formal application and only upon verification of the identity.
