This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking anticipatory bail, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 316(2) and 296 of BNS, 2023 based on complaint given by one Mrs. Mercy George.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that no FIR has been registered as against the petitioner and enquiry is yet to be conducted on the basis of the complaint given by the defacto complainant.

Recording the above said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition is dismissed.
