This petition has been filed owing to the death of the petitioner, viz., Veerammal seeking to transpose 2nd to 4th respondents and 8th to 10th respondents as 2nd to 7th petitioners in the original petition.

2. In the affidavit filed, it had been stated that to avoid multiplicity of proceedings and since the petitioners, who now seek to transpose, also derive title to the property by a settlement deed dated 06.05.2010, it would be appropriate that they are transposed from the rank of the respondents to the rank of the petitioners in the original petition. 1/3

3. Taking into consideration the facts pleaded, this petition stands allowed.

4. I must also state that the learned counsel for the respondents was quite busy looking at his cell phone while the Court was examining the papers. That conduct of the learned counsel for the respondents is not appreciated.

5. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments in the original petition and list the matter whenever the Registry carried out the amendments in the petition.
