O R D E R

The petitioner herein was granted appeal by the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai in Cr.No.184 of 2024 on the file of H-5, New Washermenpet Police Station,Chennai is before 1/4

this Court to modify the bail condition of reporting before the Court daily until further orders.

2. In view of the fact that he is complying the bail condition in another case in Cr.No.261 of 2024 on the file of Thiruvottriyur Police Station, wherein this Court directed him to report before Thirunelveli Town Police daily for a period of three months. The order of this Court was passed on 16.08.2024 and the petitioner is complying with the condition by reporting before the Thirunelveli Town Police daily at 10.30 a.m.,. While so, the earlier order of the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai in Cr.No.184 of 2024 dated 21.06.2024 to report before the said Court could not be complied with due to distance between Tirunelveli and George Town, Chennai.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on verification, submits that the petitioner is regularly reporting before the Thirunelveli Town Police Station till date and he has to report before the Thirunelveli Town Police Station for another two months as per the directions of the High Court in Crl.OP.No.19899 of 2024.

4. In the light of the above fact, the condition imposed by the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai to report before the Court daily in Cr.No.184 of 2024 is modified to the effect that 2/4

after the expiry of three months period reporting before the Thirunelveli Town Police , the petitioner shall report before the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. Till then, order of the concerned Magistrate to report before the Court daily shall stands suspended.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to comply with the conditions imposed by the High Court in Crl.OP.No.19899 of 2024 scrupulously, i.e., report before the Thirunelveli Town Police daily at 10.30 a.m.
