The petitioner herein states that the claim of the defacto complainant been settled subsequently registration of the complaint and therefore, seeks direction from the Court to the Investigating Officer to file final report.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that if the petitioner appear before the Investigating Officer and produce the records indicating payment of Rs.1,04,000/- being the complaint amount, necessary action will be taken on the complaint of the defacto complainant.

Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner herein to participate in the enquiry and produce the payment receipt. On such production of the document, the respondent police shall complete the investigation based on the evidence.
