O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.127 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against one Chinnappa Devar and others alleging that they have trespassed into the petitioner's property and caused damage to the fencing put up by the petitioner. Based on the said complaint, the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.127 of 2015 for the offences under sections 147, 148, 447, 427, 294(b) and 506(ii) IPC. But there is no progress in the investigation of the said case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor as well as the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.2730 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.
