Respondents (Respondent No.3 impleaded suo-motu vide order of the Court) dated 17.10.2016 Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachments made in Odai poramboke which runs through R.S.No.34, 226, 231, 233, 260, 261, 258 and 258 of Nasiyanur village, Erode District within the time fixed by this Hon'ble Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.6.2016. O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner alleges encroachment on water area by the adjacent land holders in R.S.Nos.34, 226, 231, 233, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

260, 261, 258 and 252 of Nasiyanur village, Erode District. The representation made by the petitioner on 27.06.2016 was dealt with by the District Collector on 01.08.2016 directing the Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Water Resources Organisation, Keel Bhavani Division, Erode, to take suitable steps.

2. In view of the aforesaid, we implead the Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Water Resources Organisation, Keel Bhavani Division, Erode as respondent No.3 and memo of parties be amended accordingly.

3. Respondent No.3 is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.06.2016 forwarded by the District Collector/respondent No.1 on 01.08.2016 within a maximum period of three months of the receipt of the copy of this order, after notice to all concerned in accordance with law.

4. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
