PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent in Detention order bearing C.M.P.No.38/GOONDA/2024/M1 dated 23.07.2024 against the detenue Vicky alias Vignesh, son of Poomalai Subramaniam confined at Central Prison Salem and set aside the same, consequently direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu Vicky alias Vignesh, Son of Poomalai Subramaniam before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent in proceedings C.M.P.No.38/GOONDA/2024/M1 dated 23.07.2024 is sought to be quashed in the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in this court record.
