ORDER

The petitioners have come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioners. 2.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one Kamalakannan borrowed money from the petitioners and he failed to repay that amount. The cheque issued by him for repayment of the amount returned as 'insufficient fund'. Hence, the first petitioner filed a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. Now, the said Kamalakannan threaten the petitioners to withdraw the complaint and to escape from the clutches of law, the said Kamalakannan has lodged a false complaint. On the basis of the complaint given by the said Kamalakannan, the respondents are frequently calling the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioners and harassing them under the guise of enquiry. Hence, the petitioners have come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.

4.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Kamalakannan, petition enquiry was conducted and it was closed and would further submit that the petitioners are not required for enquiry.

5.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
