Crl.O.P.No.20550 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 461, 468 and 471 of IPC in Crime No.485 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is stated that the 1st accused had obtained loan, from the defacto complainant bank, for a sum of Rs.1,75,00,000/- by mortgaging the property and further got an additional loan, which totally amounted to more than Rs.3,00,00,000/- and it was later found that the documents, which had been placed as deposit of title deeds, were actually forged documents.

3.In view of the fact that investigation is required, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
