Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to conduct the re-auction to Ottanur - Kottaiyur parisal boat point situated at Ottanur Village, Nagamarai panchayat, Eriyur Panchayat Union, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District in transparent manner by cancelling the tender dated 20.08.2024 due to various irregularities on the part of the 3rd respondent and consequently to direct the 1st respondent to conduct the enquiry about the irregularities towards the auction dated 20.08.2024 and to take action against the 3rd to 7th respondents, who involved in the irregularities and incurred loss of 35 lakhs to the panchayat.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the 3rd respondent to conduct the re-auction to Ottanur - Kottaiyur parisal boat point situated at Ottanur Village, Nagamarai panchayat, Eriyur Panchayat Union, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District.

2. Heard and perused the materials available on record.

3. As per the tender notification dated 08.08.2024, auction was conducted

on 20.08.2024, in which one O.L.Kannan was a highest bidder. Now, the petitioner made several allegations about the irregularities towards the auction dated 20.08.2024.

4. Considering the above, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and counter parties if any, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
