O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to settle the interest amount of 12 % on the belated settlement of terminal benefits from 1.7.2011 to 7.08.2015.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that all the pensionary benefits, due to the petitioner has already been settled. That apart, the claim of the writ petitioner for grant of interest for belated settlement of the terminal benefits was also considered as per the rules in force and as per the Government Order issued in G.O.Ms.No. 173 dated 01.04.2004, 8 % interest was already granted in favour of the writ petitioner. Thus, the claim for interest has already been redressed and 8 % interest has been fixed as per the Rules in force.

3. In view of the above, no further adjudication is required in respect of the relief sought for in the present writ petition. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
