A.No.4849 of 2024 in O.P.No.617 of 2024 RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN,J., This application has been filed to seek interim custody.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly considered that there is an order already passed by the Additional Family Court No.VI on 23.02.2024 wherein he was permitted to visit his minor child G.Mukund on 3rd Saturday of every month at the Child Care Centre, Family Court, Chennai from 10.00a.m to 12.00 noon, pending disposal of the main original petition.

3. The main grievance of the father of the minor is that the grandparents of the minor were not allowed due the absence of a specific order from the Family Court. Since the Family Court, which has concurrent jurisdiction, already dealt with a case and passed an order, I hereby direct the father to file a modification petition to include the grandparents in visitation and to extend the visitation duration. If such an application is filed by the father, the Additional Family Court No.VI is directed to dispose of the application within four weeks from the date of filing the modification petition.

4. Accordingly, this application is ordered.
