Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025 in order to take immediate and appropriate action against the unauthorised drainage connection and illegal sewage connection by the 4th respondent in the petitioner land at New No.30, Old No.21, South Perumal Koil Street, Vadapalani, Chennai 600 026, comprised in Survey No.178/1, Block No.6, TS No.29, New No.15/Part. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Petitioner's grievance, as ventilated in this petition, is that private respondent is using the land of petitioner for sewage outlet and the official respondents are not taking any action on petitioner's

representation.

2. In our view, the dispute is only of civil nature as between petitioner and private respondent. Whether or not private respondent has encroached upon petitioner's land and using the same for the purpose of sewage outlet is the matter to be considered by the appropriate civil Court and not by this Court.
