A.Nos.4368 & 4369 of 2024 in C.S.No.26 of 2018 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J These applications are filed for amendment of the name of the plaintiff and amendments consequential thereto as also for permission to file the schedule mentioned documents as additional documents.

2. The suit was originally filed by Preethi Kitchen Appliances Private Limited. While the suit was pending by order dated 13.05.2021 of the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench in C.P.(CAA)No.33/MB/2021, the original plaintiff merged with Philips Domestic Appliances India Limited. Thereafter, the name of the said entity was changed to Versuni India Home Solutions Limited. These developments have necessitated the filing of these two applications.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to these applications being allowed.

4. Upon examining the affidavit in support of these applications and the additional documents proposed to be filed, it is evident that reasonable cause is shown. Consequently, these applications are allowed on the following terms: (i) The petitioner is directed to carry out the amendments to the petition on or before 13.09.2024 and serve a copy of the amended petition on the respondents within a week thereafter.
