PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.770/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 16.07.2024 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's son Manikandan @ Mani S/o. Elumalai, aged about 34 years the detenu, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

Mr.C.Gokul, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present habeas corpus petition, since the detention order was revoked by the competent Authority and also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
