ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for the violation and disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.33285 of 2014 dated 13.12.2018.

2. This Court, by an order dated 13.12.2018 in W.P.No.33285 of 2014, set aside the order passed by the respondent herein and directed the respondent to evaluate the certificate of the petitiner within a period of twelve weeks. Alleging that the said order has not been obeyed, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

3. Earlier, this Court by an order dated 17.03.2020 suo motu impleaded the Secretary to the Government, Government of Tamil Nadu, Education Department, Secretariat, Fort St. George, Chennai, as party respondent since the proposal was stated to be pending with the Government and also directed the Government to pass necessary orders on the proposal on or before 27.03.2020.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.C. Munusamy, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents would submit that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and the certificate of the petitioner has been evaluated and the entire arrears has been paid to the petitioner.

5. Recording the said submission, this contempt petition is closed, as no further adjudication is required in this petition.
