Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents, particularly the fourth respondent herein to depute a Competent Surveyor to Survey the lands comprised in Old Survey Nos.806, 807, 808, 809, corresponding to new Town Survey Nos.68/2, 69, 70, 71 totalling an extent of 2 acres situated in Block No.20, Ward No.3, Sellankuppam Village, Sivanandapuram, Cuddalore District, fix the four boundaries thereof by considering the application dated 25.10.2021 submitted by the petitioner, within a specified time to be stipulated by this Court and to pass appropriate orders thereon within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents, particularly the fourth respondent herein to depute a Competent Surveyor to Survey the lands https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

comprised in Old Survey Nos.806, 807, 808, 809, corresponding to new Town Survey Nos.68/2, 69, 70, 71 totalling an extent of 2 acres situated in Block No.20, Ward No.3, Sellankuppam Village, Sivanandapuram, Cuddalore District, fix the four boundaries thereof by considering the application dated 25.10.2021 submitted by the petitioner, within a specified time to be stipulated by this Court and to pass appropriate orders thereon within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2021 to survey and fix the boundaries in respect of the petitioner's property, after issuance of notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on payment of requisite fees.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
