This petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the FIR in Crime No.78 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The learned Government Advocate would submit that investigation has been completed in Crime No.78 of 2017 and final report has been filed and based on the same a case was taken on file in S.C.No.246 of 2018 on the file of the learned Additional Session Judge, Thirupathur and after trial the petitioner was acquitted. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
