Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to enter into the revenue records in respect of S.Nos.134/1 and 134/2 Kannadi
Village, Kurinjipadi Taluk, Cuddalore District correctly as burial ground and pond respectively and consequently restraining the respondents not to convert the use of S.No.134/1 in as burial ground into any other use.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) After hearing the counsel for parties, we find that facts have been seriously disputed.
2. According to respondents, part of the land, in which pond is existing, is now renumbered as 134/1, old survey number being
145. The work order has been issued in respect of this part of land only.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, disputes it and
submits that the land where the pond is situated is actually renumbered as 134/1.
