The present petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to file a FIR in respect of the complaint dated 29.10.2015 given by the petitioners and complete the investigation and to file a final report.

2. The petitioners lodged a complaint against one Raja Iyub, M.Vijaya, v.Murali, G.Altaf Ahmed, P.A.sthakathulla, V.Subramanian and Venkatraman on the allegation of cheating, but no action was taken so far. Hence, the present petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional public Prosecutor submitted that on completion of investigation, the complaint given by the petitioners was closed as the matter is purely civil in nature. He has also produced the closure report in this regard.

4. Since already the complaint has been closed, nothing survives in the petition. Hence, the criminal original petition stands dismissed.
