The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to include the petitioners' names as candidates in the election to be conducted for the ED.178 K.Ganapathipalayam Milk Producers Cooperative Society, Ganapathipalayam Nall Road, Ganapathipalayam Post-638 153, 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, election itself was over and the Board of members of the Co-operative Society were also elected and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
