ORDER
The petitioner has filed the present petition praying to direct the respondent to execute the non-bailable warrant (i.e. NBW) dated 26.06.2025 issued by the XIX Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai, in S.T.C.No.2720 of 2022 against the accused K.V.M.Jeeva, within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.
2. The NBW is pending due to the confirmation of the order passed by the 1 / 3
Magistrate Court and the Magistrate was directed to secure the accused to undergo the imprisonment and the Magistrate has also issued the NBW against the accused and since the warrant was not executed, on 20.06.2025, now the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the accused has filed the revision petition before this Court, but admittedly, there is no order of stay. Further, it is the duty of the respondents-Police to execute the warrant, unless the said warrant is set aside/cancelled/stayed by the appellate or the revisional Court.
3. Therefore, the respondent-Police is directed to execute the warrant immediately within a period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
