O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of suspension passed by the respondent through proceedings dated 05.09.2023 and for a consequential direction to the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 22.04.2024. 2.Heard Mr.S.Ilamvaluthi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he was working as Village Administrative Officer and based on a complaint lodged against him, an FIR came to be registered in Crime No.8 of 2023. In view of the same, an order of suspension came to be passed by the respondent through proceedings dated 05.09.2023 and the same has been put to challenge in the present writ petition.

4.In the considered view of this Court, the suspension order was passed nearly one year back. The petitioner has also made a representation to the respondent on 2/4

22.04.2024 to review and to revoke the order of suspension. Since, the same has not been considered, the petitioner has been forced to challenge the suspension order before this Court.

5.This Court is not inclined to interfere with the order of suspension at this stage. It will suffice if a direction is given to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 22.04.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and an order shall be passed, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
