The Petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the Respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 379 & 430 of IPC, r/w.Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act, 1984 & r/w. Section 21(1) of M & M Act, in Crime No.353 of 2018 on the file of the Respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent Police submitted that on 29.12.2018, the Petitioner illegally transported one unit of river sand.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent Police. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and the submissions made by the learned counsel on either sides and the fact that the matter is arising out of illegal transport of river sand, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioners.
