ORDER

Pursuant to the letter dated 08.01.2026 addressed by the learned Sessions Judge, Principal POCSO Court (FAC), Salem, to the Registry, the matter has been listed under the caption for "Extension of Time".

2.Earlier this Court dismissed the bail application of the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.20825 of 2025 vide order dated 25.07.2025 directing the learned Sessions Judge, Principal POCSO Court, Salem, to complete the trial in Spl.S.C.No.187 of 2023 and to dispose of the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Heard both sides and perused the records.

4.Considering the request made by the learned Sessions Judge, Principal POCSO Court, Salem, this Court is inclined to extend for a further period of two months to complete the trial in Spl.S.C.No.187 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible and pass appropriate orders from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
